What's New?
January-March online newsletter
We hope that you had a wonderful holiday season and that you are looking
forward to the New Year as much as we are.
We have a couple of great events in the planning stages for this year, including
the cancer forum that was originally scheduled for last October. We will let you
know once we have confirmed the date for this informative event. We encourage
each of you who attend the event to bring along someone new. You and your guest
will have an opportunity to have your questions answered by some of the brightest
minds in cancer research and care. Treatments and advances in cancer care are
happening at an astounding rate and we will have the experts on hand to tell you all
about it.
Many of you who serve on the steering committee have asked how you can
get more involved. We encourage you to take the Moffitt tour in the next few
months. It is really amazing to see firsthand the work that is being done in cancer
research at Moffitt. You will have the opportunity to visit one of the research labs
and talk directly to scientists about their projects. I guarantee you will never look at
Moffitt as “just another cancer center” after this. Please contact Jackie Edgington at
